Dani Inkpen is a PhD candidate in the Department of the History of Science. She has a masters in Interdisciplinary Studies, which combined the history and philosophy of science, from the University of British Columbia, and an undergraduate degree in philosophy also from UBC. Her current project stems from a love of alpine places and a desire to better understand the scientific practices and visual cultures that have contributed to current conceptions of glaciers as icons of climate change.

 **Previous Degrees:**
BA., Honors Philosophy, University of British Columbia
MA., Interdisciplinary Studies, University of British Columbia
