Professors of the History of Science Hannah Marcus and Gabriela Soto Laveaga are featured in the Harvard Gazette article ["Dramatizing Genius](https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2026/01/dramatizing-genius/?spMailingID=36139507&spUserID=MjIzMDc2NDI1ODUS1&spJobID=3063206578&spReportId=MzA2MzIwNjU3OAS2)" that examines the popular portrayals of the lone genius. In the article, Prof. Soto Laveaga cites the film *The Edge of All We Know* by Peter Galison, Joseph Pellegrino University Professor, as highlighting the collaborative aspects of the practice of science. Referring to her work on Galileo, Prof. Marcus demonstrates that "genius can require pursuing questions that arise even if they were not your original purpose."
