The History of Science Society (HSS) is set to celebrate its 100th anniversary with a landmark event in Mérida, Yucatán, from November 7 to 10, 2024. For the first time in its history, the HSS Annual Meeting will be held in Latin America, featuring Gabriela Soto Laveaga, Professor of the History of Science, and Antonio Madero Professor for the Study of Mexico at Harvard University, as the first Latina to deliver the prestigious Distinguished Lecture.
