Genevieve Dally-Watkins is a PhD candidate in the History of Science department. She works between medical and environmental history - tracking the development of disease ecology and planetary health. Dally-Watkins is especially interested in how these biomedical fields intersected with colonial networks during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. As an undergraduate at the University of Sydney, Dally-Watkins wrote a conceptual history on the development of disease ecology and immunitary ideas in France and Colonial Tunisia.
