Her research explores the development of the study of plants and animals, and the ways whereby knowledge about the natural world was constructed and developed during the Formative Period of Islamic history. Her research also explores the intersection between the thriving book culture and scientific culture during this period. Iman’s previous research focused on Classical Arabic Literature.
