Marie Linos is a Belgian American Educational Foundation (B.A.E.F.) Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of the History of Science at Harvard University. Her current project deals with American social scientists’ couples during the first half of the twentieth century and aims at exploring the interlocking of intimate and professional life of scientists.
Marie holds a M.A. in History from the Université libre de Bruxelles and a M.A. in History of Science, Technology and Society from the École des Hautes Études en sciences sociales (EHESS). She was then awarded F.R.S.-FNRS PhD fellowship to pursue her research at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) where she studied the transatlantic circulations of social sciences during the interwar period and the history of the Encyclopaedia of the Social Sciences (ed. Alvin Johnson, Edwin Seligman, 1930-1935). She completed her PhD in December 2021.
