Katharine Park awarded the Paul Oskar Kristeller Lifetime Achievement Award by the Renaissance Society of America
The History of Science Department extends its warmest congratulations to Katharine Park, Samuel Zemurray, Jr. and Doris Zemurray Stone Radcliffe Research Professor of the History of Science, Emeritus, on being awarded the Paul Oskar Kristeller Lifetime Achievement Award by the Renaissance Society of America for her contributions on a wide-ranging array of topics in medieval and Renaissance science and medicine.
Her scholarship is “as meticulous as it is creative, forward-looking and engaging,” and “she blends intellectual, cultural, and religious history with a deft touch.”
