Rebecca Lemov Awarded Walter Channing Cabot Fellowship by Faculty of Arts and Sciences
Rebecca Lemov, Professor of the History of Science, has been awarded the Walter Channing Cabot Fellowship. The fellowship is an annual award honoring scholars "for their outstanding contributions to their fields, including their notable publications." Professor Lemov's new book is The Instability of Truth: Brainwashing, Mind Control, and Hyper-Persuasion.
The Cabot Fund was established in 1905 in honor of Walter Channing Cabot by his wife, Elizabeth Rogers Cabot, and their children. Its aim is to award and encourage scholarly endeavors and academic distinction among Harvard faculty.
The History of Science Department extends its warmest congratulations to Professor Lemov for this prestigious honor!
