Eric Gurevitch Awarded the 2026 Indira Peterson Prize in Sanskrit Studies by the American Institute of Indian Studies

The History of Science Department extends its warmest congratulations to Eric Gurevitch, Assistant Professor in the History of Science, on being awarded the 2026 Indira Peterson Prize in Sanskrit Studies by the American Institute of Indian Studies for his forthcoming book, Everyday Sciences: Practical Knowledge and Knowledgeable Practice in Medieval South Asia, which will published by the University of Chicago Press in February 2027.
