Harvard College Senior Lucy Tu is among 10 students from Harvard headed to Oxford University next year!
A History of Science and Sociology major from Omaha, Nebraska, Tu is also a research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Kennedy School. She was the first undergraduate to be sponsored by the American Statistical Association for the AAAS Mass Media Fellowship, which funded her reporting fellowship at Scientific American. She served as the President of the Harvard Undergraduate Law Review and the Director of the Boston Youth Enrichment Extension Program. She also skates for the Harvard Figure Skating Club.
While at Oxford, Tu plans to pursue an M.Phil. in Socio-legal Research and an M.Sc. in Comparative Social Policy. No word yet on whether OxIce will have a new recruit.
The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full time, postgraduate award which enables talented young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford.
