Victor Seow Awarded the 2023 John Whitney Hall Book Prize

Congratulations to HoS Assistant Professor Victor Seow for having been awarded the 29th Annual John Whitney Hall Book Prize. The prize is given for Victor's new book Carbon Technocracy: Energy Regimes in Modern East Asia (University of Chicago Press) by the Association for Asian Studies in recognition of the outstanding English language book published on Japan in 2021.
