His interests span from sixteenth-century British farmer's almanacs to the present-day climate movement. He is always interested in the question: What does science mean for the non-specialist?
He received his B.Sc. from Yale University, double-majoring in History and Physics. Prior to his PhD, Charlie worked as a climate policy researcher and advocate at the Yale Carbon Containment Lab, with a focus on refrigerant emissions reductions and the Montreal Protocol.
