Gabriela Soto Laveaga inducted to the Academia Mexicana de la Historia
Gabriela Soto Laveaga, Professor of the History of Science and the Antonio Madero Professor for the Study of Mexico was offically inducted to The Academia Mexicana de la Historia (Mexican Academy of History) in a ceremony on April 7, 2026.
Founded in 1919, the Academia promotes continuing research in and the historical study of Mexico. Her election to the Academia is an especially appropriate recognition of Prof. Soto Laveaga's pathbreaking contributions in the history of Mexico.
